Les passed away at midday on Monday 10th March after a long illness and brief stay in hospital. He was 78.<br /><br />Les served the Association in many aspects starting as a referee before becoming a member of Division Three. Later, he became Divisional Advisory Secretary, Divisional Chairman, Assistant Referee’s Secretary, Referee’s Secretary and more recently Chairman of the Referee’s Committee. He was made a Vice-President and subsequently a Life Vice-President. He also served on the committee’s of Bletchingley FC, Nutfield FC and the Redhill &amp; District FL of which he was a Vice-President.<br /><br />Our thoughts are with his wife Jean and his two sons Graham and Andrew.<br /><br />The funeral is at 3.00pm on Thursday, 20th March at Sussex &amp; Surrey Crematorium, Balcombe Road , Worth, (between Horley and Crawley ).
